The Brief
Special Considerations
Working on a multi-level development of this scale requires strict adherence to building timelines and safety codes. Given the coastal location near Moreton Bay, all materials were selected for their corrosion resistance and longevity. Coordination between Tower A and Tower B was essential to ensure perfect uniformity in the fabrication and installation of several hundred linear metres of balustrading and screening.
The Solution & Materials Used
We managed the end-to-end supply and installation for both towers, utilizing custom-fabricated aluminium and stainless-steel components:
- Balustrading: Powder-coated aluminium systems featuring 50mm SHS core-drilled posts, 70x30mm RHS top and bottom rails, and 20mm CHS vertical bars at 100mm centres.
- Safety Handrailing: A combination of wall-mounted and freestanding stainless-steel handrails featuring 50mm round tube rails with 180-degree mandrel ends for a seamless, ergonomic finish.
- Privacy & Ventilation Screening: Perforated Screens: 3mm standard pattern perforated aluminium sheets on 50mm SHS frames.
- Vertical Batten Screens: Robust 150x50mm RHS battens at 200mm centres.
- Z-Shaped Louvres: High-performance ventilation louvres in 100x25mm PFC frames to ensure privacy without sacrificing airflow.
- Perimeter Fencing: Powder-coated aluminium fencing designed for both general security and pool safety compliance.
The Result
By utilizing our in-house fabrication and powder-coating facility, we delivered a “right-first-time” installation across both towers. The final result provides the residents of Adena with a secure, stylish, and low-maintenance living environment.
